How can young people help support friends and family who are struggling with their mental health? What do adults misunderstand about what young people are going through? Central Square Theater’s resident youth ensemble, Youth Underground (YU), creates and performs original theater that investigates social issues relevant to young people. For the past year, they have put their focus on youth mental health, investigating the reality of young people in Cambridge and the tools available for managing their struggles. Join YU and our community partners for a weekend of performances, workshops, and community conversations, as they take an honest look at the mental health challenges facing local youth.
